How soon can you install my fence?

As soon as we can. We cannot establish a specific number of days because this is subject to a lot of factors including but not limited to location, material availability, manpower availability, and current workload commitments. Especially when our work calendar is packed, we have a difficult time delegating our team to different projects. We do not want to sacrifice the quality of our work by inserting every client to the schedule because we believe in quality over quantity. It would be best to call for an estimate and inquire about our team’s current availability in order to have a more updated time estimate. You may reach us at 601-476-1207.

We try to deliver as soon as possible (or according to our promised time frame during the consultation) without sacrificing the quality of our output. Are There Legal Restrictions on My Fence?

Yes, your fence will be subject to some legal restrictions. Different residential and commercial areas are bound by different zoning ordinances. It is best to check with your city regulations first as violation of said regulations will lead to a fee payment. Our team is very careful in carrying out our services to ensure that we abide closely to every restriction that includes dimension requirements and even to some areas, material requirements. It would be helpful to get to know about your local ordinances prior to consultation so that all these aspects are laid down in the initial stages of planning. For projects within the Jackson, Mississippi area, you may review the building regulations here.

Do I Need to Consult My Neighbors?

Yes. The guidelines of the homeowner’s association states that it is required to inform your neighbors about the project in advance. This is also considered common courtesy. Even if we proceed with the project carefully, following the building regulations, the installation process may still disturb your neighbors. Not only will there be added noise but added elements of danger during the construction of your fence due to the presence of our installation equipment. These can pose hazards especially for young children and pets. Fence installation may range from two to three weeks at best, so it would be better to inform surrounding neighbors, especially those who are likely to be affected in the process.

How Deep Should My Fence Posts Be?

Average posts need at least a 3 to 4-foot deep hole for proper installation. However, this measurement varies according to the project, fence material and location. Some heavier materials need to be installed deeper for better strength and precaution. The fence height is also a very important factor to consider. Especially for heavy and high-rising fences, it is better to have them installed professionally to ensure that the installation is durable and safe. Get in touch with our team to have these specific inquiries professionally answered. Our team of experts are ready to do an initial consultation with you. Reach us by dialing 601-476-1207.

Should the Fence Touch the Ground?

This is a case-to-case basis. Most fences do not touch the ground to avoid the moist of the soil. This greatly shortens the life span of fences especially for wood material like our cedar wood fence. For fence requests that involve installation that touch the ground (to avoid unwanted wildlife from entering the property), the best fence material would be aluminum or vinyl since they require much less maintenance due to their corrosion resistant quality. If you are unsure regarding what type of fencing is best for your property, it would be best to dial us at 601-476-1207 to get in touch with our team of experts.

Does the Weather Affect the Installation?

Inclement or drastic weather will affect the duration of the installation as we give priority to the safety of our team as well. Moreover, extreme weathers will potentially damage the equipment and materials leading to subpar results. For example, too high or too low temperatures will negatively affect concrete settlement and will influence the integrity of the structure in the long run. Our clients will be informed in advance if the team cannot come in for the installation given these situations. For concerns of the like or inquiries relating to this, you may contact our team directly at 601-476-1207. Concerns like these are important to us too.

What Material Should I Use for My Fence?

This will greatly depend on you and your project. It is important to consider your vision, your budget, your preferences as well as how soon you will be needing this done. Some materials give off the aesthetic you want better than others, for example, clients choose ornamental steel for a classic and elegant look while others opt for SimTek walls or cedar wood fences for a more rustic finish. When clients have a concern for budget, usually aluminum is the material of choice. In the cases where clients who do not have time for fence maintenance, vinyl fences are the best option. What matters really is what the client wants. We have a variety of materials to fit a wide range of different needs and preferences. Talk to us by dialing 601-476-1207.

How Tall Should My Fence Be?

This depends on the function for which the fence was built. For residential areas, the height will depend on whether this is for the purpose of privacy and security (usually taller fences) or merely for the purpose of establishing property lines (usually shorter fences). Some residential and commercial areas have regulations that dictate the height requirement of fences. When fences are built for sports like tennis courts, basketball courts or baseball and softball arenas, there are standard heights for maximum spectator protection especially for risky sports like baseball. It is best to check if your fence is bound by any regulation or standard height requirement so you get an idea about how high your fence should be. You could also ask our team of experts. Just dial 601-476-1207.

How Long Will the Fence Last?

Different materials have different life spans. Metal materials like steel and aluminum are known to be very durable. Cedar wood fences are also known to last a decade, at best with proper maintenance. A material’s life span is also dependent on care and maintenance, location (some areas have extreme weather more than others), installation (fences attached to the ground are more susceptible to weathering) and manner of installation. To ensure you get your money’s worth on your fence project, it would be better to opt for professional services. Talk to our team of experts now and know which material will last the longest according to your project specifications. Dial us at 601-476-1207.
